Dear Parents/Guardians,
Due to the current situation, St. Michael’s Faith Formation classes will not be starting this September. It is our believe that “Parents/guardians are their children’s primary and principal educators”, this guideline and philosophy of the Bishops’ of the United States is our motivation.
We are sending packets to help teach children about God’s love and our Catholic faith. Every month we will send out a month’s worth of weekly lessons that go along with the Gospel reading of the week with other teaching materials about the traditions of our Catholic faith.
If you wish to have the packets sent to your home, please fill out the form below and send it to ltucker@frontiernet.net or dropout off at the St. Michael’s parish office.

God bless and stay safe,

St. Kateri Tekakwitha Prayer Group
We promote the life and spirituality of St. Kateri Tekakwitha as she journeyed toward holiness and obedience. We honor her as the patron Saint of all Native American Tribes and ask her to pray for and protect the Menominee Tribe.
WHO ARE WE? We are a group of women who meet Thursday morning after 8 a.m. mass. We gather together to honor and pray to St. Kateri for her guidance and intercession for various needs in the community. We also have a social hour and snacks after our prayer session which gives us time to socialize and share ideas. Feel free to join us at mass and come to the meeting and social hour afterward. NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME.
WHAT ELSE DO WE DO? At the request of a family, the Kateri Prayer Group will come to their homes, or go to the hospital or nursing homes to pray for their loved ones who are ill. At the family’s request, we will also go to a wake service/visitation and say the Rosary for a loved one whose soul has already started their journey to the Great Spirit. Through prayer we want to bring families peace and hope during their time of grief.
If you have a need for prayers, you can contact one of the following people. They will contact the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Prayer Group with your prayer request:
Fay Waupochick 715-799-3437
Leatha Grinhaug 715-994-1098, 715-851-6838 (cell)
