PARISH MISSION STATEMENT
We are a Christian community called together to grow in faith and to celebrate God’s love for us in the Mass and Sacraments of the Catholic Church. Through the gospel message and our common worship we are challenged to give Christian witness by our lives and service to others.

The Bishop’s Appeal puts focus primarily on the life of the Catholic believers, and particularly to the young people of the church… We can support the Bishop’s Appeal by encouraging initially our own children as we bring them regularly to church and let them attend the Religious Education program, which is one of the beneficiaries of the Bishop’s Appeal. Hence, we can be more eager to hand out our help for the spiritual growth of our children; the future of the Church.
Again, God bless you for your generosity… Fr. Francis, mf
One very integral part in our Christian life is spiritual nourishment; it is best realized when it starts in a person during their younger age… the Diocesan Youth Ministry is very rich in its program for the young people of our church.
The Diocese of Green Bay is fortunate to have a venue where faith formation for the youth can be held in Camp Tek.
In supporting the Bishop’s Appeal, we look forward for the spiritual growth of our younger generations, through the programs in Camp Tekakwitha. Support our children, support the Bishop’s Appeal.
Fr. Francis, mf
FAITH FORMATION UPDATE
The season of Lent is only a few days away (9 days as of this coming Monday). The children in the Religious Education classes will be learning about this devotional, prayerful season. One of the activities that the children will be involved in is our Lenten prayer boxes. The children will make and decorate a box, and then they will have slips of paper that say; “My prayer requests is_________”. The children with the help of their family will fill out forty slips and place them in the Lenten box. Each day during Lent the child should pull one out of the box and together as a family pray together.
There will be Lenten Calendars available in the front of church for families to take and use.
Due to our low count of children participating in the Religious Education Program we are seeking your help. If you have any suggestions on how to improve our program, e-mail me at maczuzak@frontiernet.net with title of improving the program. Your ideas and suggestions are welcome!
God bless, Lois Maczuzak

Planting Seeds of Faith at Camp Tek – NEW!
Lives are changing in the north woods. At Camp Tekakwitha in Shawano, kids are drawn into a life of faith while experiencing all the fun of a summer camp. Faith is the common thread woven into fun camp activities like archery, kayaking and canoeing, games, water fun and more. Each day opens in the chapel with praise, worship and music. Meals begin and end with prayer and song.
Camp Tekakwitha is a place that leads young people to a transformational moment. Experiencing creation in this environment can be the most meaningful factor for young campers in understanding who they are as children and as people of the Church.
Your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal makes a huge difference for Camp Tekakwitha. To make a gift today contact your parish, visit the Bishop’s Appeal website at www.catholicfoundationgb.org/give, or call Debbie toll-free at 877-500-3580, ext. 8184.
